It has come to our attention
that a number of members have received phone calls from a company telling
them that they must purchase "insurance" on their VISA card account with
the Credit Union. This insurance is not needed with your VISA card account
with the Credit Union! This company is not authorized to solicit
our members in any way. The Credit Union advises you to never give
out your VISA number to anyone you do not know, especially over the phone.
The Credit Union will never call you for this information. Never
let someone intimidate you into purchasing anything over the phone.
If you are ever in doubt, please give the Credit Union a call first, and
we'll be happy to help you.
