This is the USS Traverse County NOW, as the Peruvian Navy's B.A.P. Eten, DT-144
The first 7 photos are by the gracious courtesy of a Peruvian gentleman who goes by HALCON_24.
Thanks also to Gerry Whitecotton, then DC3, for the tip that lead me to HALCON_24 and these photos.

According to HALCON_24, the four LST's in the Peruvian Navy will soon be replaced with the newer Newport Class of LST.
I'm getting old!  I can clearly remember when the Newports were brand new, and the "latest thing"!!
