From the Webmaster:
The LBFCU Website does not collect any personal information from our visitors.
We do not use "cookies" in any way (except to eat them any time they
are left unattended
).
Nor do we utilize any companies that do collect such personal information,
such as DoubleClick.net, etc. Watch the "status bar" of your browser
as each page loads. The only entity outside of www.lbfcu.org that
you will see loading is "Jinko", and this is the separate company that
runs the page counters. When you see your browser connecting to Jinko,
it is only loading the page counter for that page.
Information Automatically Logged: The following is part of the setup of almost all websites worldwide:
Your IP address is automatically logged with our server, ValueWeb.net. This information can be (but is seldom) used to allow us to determine statistical usage of the website. For our website, it is used in no other way. Your Email Address is NOT logged at any time. The Jinko company also logs the country you are in, the type of browser you are using, and information about which domain you came from. Mine is "user-38ldn0r.dsl.mindspring.com", and as you can see, this will not lead you back to me or anywhere else, for that matter. It simply helps Jinko's computers to determine which country you are logging in from. You can see this information yourself by going to the bottom of the Credit Union Home Page and clicking on the small Jinko icon.
