The Long Beach Firemen's Credit Union currently has over 3,000 members.  Membership in the Long Beach Firemen's Credit Union is limited to the following persons and organizations:
 

• Retirees of the Long Beach Fire Department

• Employees of the Long Beach Fire Department and this Credit Union.

• Spouses, parents, parents-in-law, children, son-in-laws, daughter-in-laws, and grandchildren.

• Organizations of the members.  An example would be the Long Beach Fire Fighters Local 372.

Note:  Membership must be established while the employee is a current employee of the Long Beach Fire Department or this Credit Union or up until the employee's death if the employee resigned or retired, and they remain a member of the Credit Union in good standing.

Part-time, seasonal, or at-will Fire Department employees or retirees of the same, are not eligible for membership.  Eligibility will be verified prior to account opening.
